Who would have thought that eight months into my life in Thailand I would not only have one but two articles published in a magazine?? Coming over here as just your ordinary English teacher, i certainly would never have dreamt it. This alone should be inspo for anybody in pursuit of goals(whatever they may be) to GO for it and don’t let any opportunity pass you by. I believe in you!!!
As we are fast approaching the festive period and while nothing compares to getting all wooled up, trudging through the snow in Ireland, and freezing your t*** off with loved ones…. going to the land of Guinness is not an option for me this Crimbo. Serious sad face about this! I have experienced a hot Christmas before, on a beach in a bikini in Australia and I remember it feeling totally odd(i mean it’s just not the norm at Christmas time for me). Being only a week away from the big day and no signs of winter or even a slight drop in temperatures it’s still strange as hell to know this Christmas I will be sweating on a beach somewhere again hoping the big man doesn’t forget my little Irish self in Thailand.
Receiving my first hard copy of Expat Life in Thailand however means I can chill out over Christmas and catch up on what’s going on in the world of beauty, travel, and life in general. The December/ January issue of Expat life is all about celebrations that fit perfectly with the season we are currently embracing. Just some of what you can expect to find inside the covers are Christmas in Thailand, yoga poses, tsunami memories, and street style. You won’t want to leave it down! You can have a snoop through the magazine online at www.expatlifeinthailand.com and for my fellow pale and pasty ladies, iv got you covered in this article! Not only am I giving it socks with the perspiration(someone gotta do it) I am also detailing makeup looks for medium, olive, and brown skin tones. I haven’t left out those of you with more matured skin either, in my eyes beauty has no age limit! My own mother is a prime example of someone who just seems to get better looking with age #mammyyabeaut. Anyway, a girl can never have too much makeup advice, right?
Here’s my article for you to have a nosy at, hope you enjoy it, and stay tuned for many more articles in the pipeline for February/March…
