So if you are following me on Facebook and Insta you might have noticed that I started writing for a magazine and got my first article published(woohoo). I am super proud and even more so to be given the opportunity to write in the Fashion/Beauty and Travel sections(my two loves) and be part of the team of writers of course! Those of you who know me well, will be more than aware that I am a serious travel fanatic(think that’s pretty obvious) and I have a huge craze for fashion and beauty.
I sometimes feel disheartened when people who travel or backpack per say, feel that they longer can no longer be stylish or make as much effort with their appearance. Do not let this stop you is what I say! This is where the magazine will come into play and be your new BFF.
Expat Life in Thailand is a magazine for expat ladies living in Thailand and the beauty of it, is that it is written by all expat ladies(women power!).
If there is any males reading this, do not be put off, yes its a magazine for the ladies but I know ye secretly enjoy reading the girly things(admit it) and fear not there is more to this magazine than just fashion and beauty. Browse the Arts, culture, property, money, healthcare and education topics and I am sure something will take your fancy. This mag has it all!!!
I have been living in Thailand for six months now(where has the time gone?) and just to read an English written magazine is a treat indeed(its the little things in life). Where I live in Chanthaburi they don’t have any, you have to trek to the main cities to get one and at that can be costly process. So I welcome Expat Life in Thailand with open arms.
The magazine can be read online via the eMagazine, www.expatlifeinthailand.com, where each issue can be downloaded and read from the ease of your laptop. If you prefer to actually have the mag in hand(like most of us), you can subscribe , register and pay online and have the delivery package straight to your front door. Six issues realesed each year for only 600 baht(bargain ladies).
My article for the October/November issue called Face in the heat(p92,93 & 94) details the products you need to get a hold of to have a flawless face despite the hot and humid conditions we face here daily. It also features some of the latest on trend make up looks that any of us can easily achieve without the help of any beauty experts(sorted).
I am currently a busy bee, writing my next articles for the upcoming issue of the magazine, one about makeup looks to suit different skin tones(palespiration and what not) and the other about Chanthaburi.
I know some of you told me you struggled to load the article online, so I have done the hard work for you.. Here is my first featured article below and stay tuned for lots more…………..
